The main objective of this training course is to prepare the trainees for the successful poultry flock health through better and optimum monitoring. This training course will be provided the technical knowledge and expertise to trainees for commercial chicken production particularly broilers, layer and breeder. It will also cover various techniques that can result in enhanced production performance and high livability

Assistant Professor of Pathology
She is working as Assistant professor in Department of Pathology, Faculty of Veterinary Science, University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, (UVAS) Lahore, Pakistan. She has done DVM from UAF, and M. Phil in Pathology from UVAS. Later on, she was awarded indigenous Ph.D scholarship by Higher Education Commission, Govt of Pakistan. She has over 11 years teaching and research experience. She is involved in teaching, research, clinical & laboratory Work. she is the member of board of studies of pathology department. She has attended many conferences and seminars nationally and internationally. She is life member of World’s Poultry Science Association, Pakistan Branch

Dr. Abdul Rashid Shaukat

Dr. Abdul Rashid Shaukat was born in Faisalabad on 11th of March 1973. He completed his DVM Degree from University of Agriculture Faisalabad in 1997. His illustrious career was started when he joined Be Be Jan Protein Farms as a “Farm Manager” in 1997. Then he was linked with Broiler Breeding Segment of Poultry Industry. He also spent precious time in Hi-Tech Poultry breeders for five years till 2000 then he choose Sabirs’ Poultry as a “Pioneer” Veterinarian there from 2005. Currently he is working as a production anager (Broiler Breeding Farms) with Sabirs’ Poultry from last 14 years. He has a vast experience in emerging technologies regarding Poultry Health and Monitoring as well as having capabilities to work with novel industrial innovations. He has a lot of potential to solve industrial problems and have abilities to mitigate Poultry related unsolved problems

Dr. Muhammad Kashif Saleemi
did his DVM in 2001, M. Sc (Hons.) Vet. Pathology 2003 (Silver Medal) and PhD in Vet. Pathology in 2010 from University of Agriculture Faisalabad Pakistan. He was awarded with US National Academy of Sciences One-Health Fellowship in 2016-17). Currently working as Assistant Professor on TTS in Department of Pathology, UAF. He is working on Toxicologic pathology (Mycotoxins) and Infectious Diseases of Poultry (IBV, FAdV and CAV). He has supervised > 60 M. Phil and 3 PhD students. At present, he is supervising 5 PhD and 14 M. Phil students. He has completed three research projects and currently he has two ongoing research projects. Dr. Saleemi is experienced and renowned consultant poultry pathologist for public and private sector. He is member of National Disease Control Committee for Poultry Diseases. He has won research productivity award (RPA) two times from PCST based on quality research. Young /scientist award by WPSA in 2012 in Brazil. Recently in last month he is awarded with Gold Medal by WPSA Pakistan branch. He has Published >96 research papers (total Impact Factor >129) in well reputed international Journals. He is senior Academic Advisor to Dean Faculty of Veterinary Science. Currently He is Associate Editor of Pakistan Veterinary Journal. Member Editorial Board Journal of Elementology (Poland). He is also National Branch Secretary of WVPA Pakistan.

Assistant Professor of Poultry Science
He is a dedicated scientist did his PhD from University of Agriculture Faisalabad and Post Doctorate from Roslin, University of Edinburgh UK. He is pioneer in ostrich farming and commercialization in Pakistan. He is incharge for station for ostrich research and development, PMAS Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi Pakistan. He is vice president of World’s Poultry Science Association Pakistan Branch and JVP of Asian Pacific federation of WPSA. He is the author of 6 books and 36 peer review articles in national and international journals. He has presented his dynamic viewpoints about Poultry and Ratite research in different international conferences.

Dr. Zaib-Ur-Rehman -Lecturer

Dr. Zaib-Ur-Rehman was born in Toba Tek Singh. He has completed his B.Sc.(Hons) and M.Sc. (Hons) Poultry Science from University of Agriculture Faisalabad, and PhD from Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. During his academic career, he won many awards like Outstanding Graduate student award, 2019, awarded by Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. “Outstanding International Student Scholarship” (2017-2018), awarded by Chinese Scholarship Council. “Student of the Year” 2018, Awarded by Boerihringer Ingelheim, Chinese Government Scholarship for PhD (2015-2019), “Silver Medal” in M.Sc. (Hons) Poultry Science (2009-11), “Merit scholarship” awarded by University of Agriculture Faisalabad. His main area of interest is avian viral infection and nutritional immunology. He had published many articles in the leading journals like Virology, Developmental & Comparative Immunology, Journal of Virology, Viruses, Oxidative Medicine and Cellular Longevity, Transboundary and Emerging Diseases, Cellular Physiology and Biochemistry, Veterinary Research, Veterinary Microbiology, Animal Production Science, Environmental Science and Pollution Research, Poultry Science, World’s Poultry Science Journal. His impact factor is more than 70. He is the Full member of World Society for Virology.

Dr. Farhan Farooq
Specialized Broiler & Breeder Consultant
He in working with the poultry almost by birth, he joined his father business since 2005 just after his completion of DVM. He did MBA (Gold Medalist) and M.Sc. (Hons.) from PMAS-AAUR, currently he is PhD Scholar in Poultry science. He had hands on experience of farm management for all type of birds specially broiler breeder and commercial broiler. He got bundles of trainings/seminars nationally and internationally for poultry house ventilation and management from foreign experts. He has his own poultry business “KK Poultry Breeding Farms, KK Feeds, KK Pharma”. Now he is working as General Secretary World’s Poultry Science Association (WPSA) Pakistan Branch and internationally working as DJVP for APF of WPSA. His topic of research is Artificial Insemination (AI) in broiler breeders, which is most emerging trend in Pakistan poultry industry.
