Syed Waqar Alam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry & Chemistry and an MBA in Marketing from Messuri International University, USA. With over two decades of experience in the animal health and nutrition industry, he has established himself as a leader known for strategic insight, cross-functional expertise, and an ability to drive sustained growth. Waqar began his career at Ajinomoto, spending eight formative years honing his technical knowledge in amino acids and feed additives. He then advanced to Evonik, where he served as Managing Director for 16 years, playing a pivotal role in market expansion, stakeholder engagement, and pioneering business innovations across South Asia. Currently, he leads as Business Unit Head – Animal Nutrition at Reda Chem, an international company celebrated for delivering high-impact nutritional solutions and exceptional distribution networks. Waqar’s professional journey embodies a rare synergy of scientific depth and commercial acumen, making him a respected authority in the global feed additives and premix industry.
