The World’s Poultry Science Association (WPSA) Pakistan Branch successfully participated in
the International Poultry Exhibition 2025, held in Lahore from 23rd to 25th October 2025,
under the leadership of President Mian Sohaib Javaid and Secretary General Dr. Farhan
Farooq. During the three-day exhibition, approximately 20,000 visitors, including students,
industry stakeholders, entrepreneurs, and leaders from the Pakistani and international poultry
sectors, visited the WPSA Pakistan stall. The branch actively engaged with attendees, showcasing
its initiatives and contributions to the poultry industry. Shields were presented to distinguished
guests and esteemed members of WPSA Pakistan in recognition of their support and
contributions.
Additionally, an executive dinner was hosted by the President, providing an opportunity to discuss
upcoming events. During this gathering, the Karachi Poultry Science Conference and the
Incubation and Fertility Conference in Lahore for the year 2026 were officially approved.
WPSA student members were also present, highlighting the branch’s commitment to nurturing
the next generation of poultry professionals. The participation of WPSA Pakistan in the exhibition
successfully reinforced its role as a key contributor to the development and advancement of the
poultry sector in Pakistan, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and engagement with
industry stakeholders worldwide. On this occasion, the WPSA Pakistan Branch stallwas expertly
managed byDr. Farhan Farooq, General Secretary, Dr. Nasir Mukhtar, Past General Secretary,
Muhammad Zee Waqar, WPSA Office Coordinator, Ms. Nazra Naeem, WPSA Event Coordinator,
