The World’s Poultry Science Association Pakistan is progressing steadily. During the meeting, it was decided that World Egg Day would be celebrated with great enthusiasm. A working committee was also formed, and a decision was made to strengthen ties between academia and industry. Efforts will be made to promote research addressing practical issues in the poultry sector.

The meeting also marked a historic moment—the laying of the foundation stone for the Dr. Sadiq Foundation (DSF) Complex, which took place on Friday, March 28 at 6 PM. Both Dr. Nasir Mukhtar and I were present at the occasion. The late Dr. Muhammad Sadiq was our leader, and members of his family were also present. We participated in the tree plantation ceremony and paid tribute to our great leader.

Addressing an audience of 500 participants, I stated that we are the true heirs of the intellectual and ideological legacy of Dr. Muhammad Sadiq (late). His contributions to Pakistan’s poultry industry are milestones in its history. We have initiated a project under the name “Sadiq & Javed School of Poultry Research, Training & Development.” This project will soon be launched.
